Earth Alert Festival of Geology 2002

An important event organized by the Geologists' Association, viz. "The Earth Alert Festival of Geology" took place over the Summer Bank Holiday weekend, Aug. 23rd - 26th 2002 in the beautiful seaside town of Scarborough.         It is in an area famous for its geology and well known to geologists, amateur and professional.
